French Brioche recipe
Ingredients:
1/3 cup of warm water.
3 eggs.
2 egg yolks.
¾ cup of butter, softened.
3 1/3 cups of all-purpose flour.
¼ cup of white sugar.
½ teaspoon of active dry yeast.
Preparation Instructions:
Place the ingredients in bread machine in order suggested in the manufacturer's instructions. Select dough cycle.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Turn the finished dough out onto a lightly floured board and knead about 8 times.
Separate into 2 or 3 pieces.
Using your hands, roll into strips.
Braid or twist strips together.
Place onto a parchment lined baking sheet and brush the top with egg wash.
Bake for about 20 minutes or until medium browned.
